　　Lithium-ion batteries have shown remarkable low-temperature performance, making them suitable for a wide range of applications even in cold environments.

　　At low temperatures, the performance of many battery types declines significantly. lithium-ion batteries are able to maintain a certain level of functionality. This is due to several factors. Firstly, the chemical reactions within lithium-ion batteries are less affected by low temperatures compared to some other battery chemistries. Although the rate of these reactions slows down, the battery can still deliver a useful amount of power.

　　For example, in cold climates, lithium-ion batteries can power electric vehicles, ensuring that they can start and operate even in sub-zero temperatures. In portable electronics such as smartphones and tablets, lithium-ion batteries can still provide enough power to keep the devices running, although the battery life may be slightly reduced.

　　The low-temperature performance of lithium-ion batteries can be further improved through various techniques. One approach is to use special electrode materials and electrolytes that are more resistant to low temperatures. Another method is to incorporate heating elements or thermal management systems into the battery pack to keep the battery at an optimal temperature.

　　it is important to note that extremely low temperatures can still have a significant impact on lithium-ion batteries. At very low temperatures, the battery's capacity and output voltage may drop significantly, and the charging process can become slower or even impossible. Therefore, it is advisable to store and use lithium-ion batteries within a certain temperature range to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
