　　Stanford and Tsinghua University jointly develop "self-healing" battery

　　The self-healing compound, developed by Chao Wang from Stanford and Hui Wu from Tsinghua University in Beijing, can repair itself in an instant. The research team hopes that batteries equipped with self-healing technology can ensure that mobile phones will not decay for 500 charging cycles in the future, and electric cars will not decay for 3,000 charging cycles.
