For lithium battery protection boards, there are software boards and hardware boards that people often say are actually the same.
How to activate the lithium iron battery protection board
Now not all lithium iron battery protection boards need to be activated, but some protection ICs need to be activated, and this is an old IC solution. The old IC solution needs to be done so that the protection board does not work to reduce the risk of Electrostatic discharge energy allows lithium batteries to be stored longer. This is why the design requires charge activation.
If the protection board is protected by current limiting, it may need to be activated by charging or completely disconnecting the load, which is relatively troublesome. ④After the cable is connected, do not insert the plug directly into the protective plate. Measure the voltage between each two adjacent metal terminals on the back of the plug. If it is a ternary polymer battery, the voltage should be between 2.8 and 4.2V, and for lithium iron battery, it should be between 2.5 and 2.5V. ~3.65V, lithium titanate battery should be between 1.6~2.8V;
⑤ After confirming that the wiring sequence and voltage of the cables are correct, insert them into the protection board socket.
Generally speaking: P+ and P- are connected to the output. B+ is connected to the positive electrode of the battery, and B- is connected to the negative electrode. If multiple cells are connected in series, the negative electrode of B1 and the positive electrode of B2 are connected together, and so on, the negative electrode of the last battery is connected to Bn-. Solder the wires first, and finally connect the lithium-iron battery. Do not connect them incorrectly. If there is no output after completion, remember to use the charger to activate the charging interface led by P+ and P-.
