Production costs are expected to be below 12 yen per watt-hour, lower than the 15-20 yen for traditional lithium-ion batteries. TDK started mass production for the first time in the world using the ceramic type method in 2018, and Toyota Motor and Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. are also vigorously developing it.
