　　How do lithium battery manufacturers test the safety performance of lithium batteries? Here are the detailed methods:

　　1. Overcharge test

　　Fully charge the lithium battery and conduct an overcharging test according to 3C overcharging. When the battery overcharges, the voltage rises to a certain level and remains stable for a period of time. When it approaches a certain level, the battery voltage rapidly increases. When it reaches a certain limit, the battery cap is pulled off, and the voltage drops to 0V. The battery does not ignite or burst.

　　2. Short circuit test

　　After fully charging the battery, use a wire with a resistance of no more than 50m Ω to short-circuit the positive and negative poles of the battery. Test the temperature change of the battery's surface. The temperature of the battery's surface should be 140 ℃, and the battery cover should be placed open to ensure that the battery does not ignite or burst; Acupuncture test: Place a fully charged battery on a flat surface and use a 3mm diameter steel needle to pierce the battery radially. Testing that the battery does not ignite or burst is sufficient; Kneading test: Place a fully charged battery on a flat surface, apply a kneading force of 13+1KN by an hydraulic cylinder, and knead the battery on a flat surface using a steel rod with a diameter of 32mm. Once the kneading pressure reaches the stop, the battery will not ignite or burst.

　　3. Heavy object impact test

　　After fully charging the battery, place it on a flat surface, place a steel column with a diameter of 15.8mm vertically on the battery base, and place a weight of 9.1kg freely on the steel column above the battery from a height of 610mm. The battery should not ignite or explode.
