Assembly process and method of soft-coated CR927 battery. Whether in the digital field or in the field of power applications, soft-coated CR927 battery are a very important technical route. Soft-pack batteries actually use aluminum-plastic film as the packaging material of the battery. The reason why soft-pack batteries can be hot-packed is that the material they use is aluminum-plastic packaging film.

 

The soft-pack lithium iron phosphate battery is a liquid lithium-ion battery set in a layer of polymer battery, and the structure is packaged with aluminum-plastic film. In the event of a safety hazard, the soft-pack battery will only be cracked happily at most, so the overall safety performance is high, but with the development of the economy, people who have soft-packed lithium-ion battery packs have also put forward higher requirements. The existing lithium-ion batteries are complicated to install and the process is cumbersome, and they need to be improved.

Soft-coated CR927 battery can be designed into different sizes according to user requirements. When designing the external dimensions, the corresponding mold should be opened to form the aluminum-plastic film. In general, a single hole is selected for thin walls, and a double hole is selected for thick walls, because the deformation of one side is too large to break through the deformation limit of the aluminum-plastic film, resulting in rupture.

The top sealing process is the first packaging process for soft-coated CR927 battery. The top seal and side seal actually include two processes: top seal and side seal. First, put the rolled core into the hole, and then fold the packaging film along the dotted line. The top seal is to seal the pole ear, which is metal. Some cells, especially thick cells, may deform due to large internal stress. Therefore, some factories have established a fixture forming process called fixture baking.

 

After cutting the airbag with two sealing rings, the edges should be cut and folded, that is, the edges and two sealing rings should be cut to the appropriate width, and then folded to ensure that the width of the battery does not exceed the standard. The folded battery can be divided according to the capacity of the box, which is actually a capacity test to see whether the capacity of the battery has reached the specified minimum value. In principle, all batteries are tested before leaving the factory to ensure that unqualified batteries are not delivered to customers. However, when the battery output is large, some companies will determine the qualified rate of batch battery output by dividing the partial output through statistical probability.

 

After the static, chemical, fixture shaping process, liquid injection and completion, the first static cell will be divided into normal temperature high temperature static and static according to different processes. The purpose of static is to allow the injected electrolyte to fully soak the electrode. Then the cell can be converted.

 

After the capacity division, the qualified battery capacity will enter the post-processing, including appearance inspection, paste yellow glue, edge voltage detection, pole ear transfer welding, etc., and some processes can be added or reduced according to the customer. Finally, OQC inspection, and then packaging and shipment.

 

Note that we are still in the cell. The battery is sent to the packaging plant for further processing, including welding circuit boards, packaging, etc. The downstream of the packaging plant is various manufacturers such as Apple, Lenovo, Huawei, etc., who will take the battery pack to the terminal and then send it to our consumers.

Because the shell is aluminum-plastic, the production process is different from the other two commercial batteries in some aspects. Such as aluminum-plastic film packaging process, molding process, etc.

 

The soft-pack lithium iron phosphate battery has a larger deformation space of the aluminum-plastic film, and is not prone to thermal explosion when out of control like the steel-shell aluminum-shell battery; the outer shell is a layer of aluminum-plastic film, which is light in weight and has a small proportion of inactive parts. The weight of the soft battery is 40% lighter than the steel-shell lithium-ion battery of the same capacity and 20% lighter than the aluminum-shell battery.
