　　What is a power battery?

　　Power batteries refer to batteries used to provide a source of power for vehicles, and they are an essential component of modern electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), electric bicycles, electric motorcycles, and other electric vehicles. The main characteristics of power batteries are the ability to provide high power and high energy density to meet the acceleration, climbing, and endurance needs of vehicles.

　　1. Lithium ion batteries (LIBs): currently the most mainstream type of power battery, widely used due to their high energy density, long cycle life, and relatively good power density.

　　2. NiMH batteries: used in some hybrid vehicles, but are now gradually being replaced by lithium-ion batteries.

　　3. Lead acid batteries: used in some low-cost or low-power applications, such as certain electric bicycles and small electric vehicles.

　　4. Solid state batteries: currently under development and expected to provide higher safety and energy density.

　　Key performance indicators:

　　1. Energy density: The amount of energy stored per unit weight or volume, typically measured in watt hours per kilogram (Wh/kg) or watt hours per liter (Wh/L).

　　2. Power density: The maximum amount of electricity that a battery can provide per unit time, typically measured in watts per kilogram (W/kg).

　　3. Cycle life: The number of charge and discharge cycles a battery can undergo before significant performance degradation.

　　4. Charging speed: The time required for the battery to return from a discharged state to a fully charged state.

　　5. Cost: The manufacturing cost of batteries, including materials, production, and maintenance.
