With the increasing demand from consumers for the electrical performance and safety of lithium-ion batteries, battery manufacturers, as well as regulatory authorities and industry associations in various countries, are paying more attention to the safety performance testing of lithium-ion batteries. Improving the level of safety performance testing of lithium-ion batteries is the trend.

　　Classification of batteries

　　Batteries are divided into three categories:

　　1. Chemical battery

　　Chemical primary batteries, secondary batteries (lead-acid batteries, aluminum batteries, hydrogen batteries, lithium-ion batteries), fuel cells

　　2. Physical battery
