When a liquid lithium-ion battery is overcharged, the residual positive electrode continues to transfer to the negative electrode, but the negative electrode cannot embed more, causing the negative electrode to precipitate metal Li, damage the isolation film, short circuit the battery, increase the battery temperature, and the active Li metal and its compounds inside the battery are prone to leakage, explosion, and so on. Overdischarge of batteries, due to the need to maintain a certain amount of stability in the negative electrode structure, causes more migration and irreversible damage to the negative electrode.

　　The memory effect of lithium-ion batteries is negligible, and overcharging and discharging can damage the internal compound lattice, causing a decrease in capacity and shortening battery life. Therefore, it is necessary to use a battery protection board, but the protection board cannot absolutely protect the battery.
