　　On April 18th, the State Council discussed and approved the "Energy Conservation and New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2012-2020)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), which clarified the main strategic orientation of the automotive industry transformation with pure electric drive, promoted the popularization of non plug-in hybrid vehicles, and proposed the goal of achieving a cumulative production and sales volume of 500000 pure electric and hybrid vehicles by 2015, and exceeding 5 million by 2020.
