A typical example is that many pure electric vehicles with a range of about 200 kilometers may only have an actual range of more than 100 kilometers after being fully charged in the cold winter in the north, and the battery attenuation is serious. However, lithium vanadium phosphate batteries are different. According to national standards, automotive batteries can discharge 70% of their power under environmental conditions of minus 20 degrees Celsius, which means they are qualified. It is understood that this type of battery has been tested by the Chemical and Physical Power Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and can discharge 81% of its charge under environmental conditions of minus 30 degrees Celsius. Tang Zhiyuan said that similar products can only discharge 30% to 40% of their charge at a low temperature of minus 30 degrees Celsius.
