　　Sodium sulfur batteries use sodium and sulfur as anodes and cathodes respectively, with alumina ceramics serving as both separators and electrolytes. At a certain operating temperature, sodium ions undergo reversible reactions between alumina ceramics and sulfur, forming energy release and storage. The specific energy density of sodium sulfur batteries is 3-4 times that of batteries. They are small in size, capable of high current and high-power discharge, with high charging and discharging efficiency, and abundant reserves of raw material resources.

　　The disadvantage of sodium sulfur batteries is the strong corrosiveness of their positive and negative active substances, which requires strict requirements for battery materials, battery structure, and operating conditions.
