　　The three core functions of lithium polymer battery BMS are cell monitoring, state-of-charge estimation and single cell balancing.

　　1) Battery core monitoring technology

　　Single cell voltage collection; single cell temperature collection; lithium polymer battery pack current detection;

　　Accurate temperature measurement is also very important for the working status of the lithium polymer battery pack, including temperature measurement of individual cells and temperature monitoring of the battery pack’s heat dissipation liquid. This requires reasonably setting the location and number of temperature sensors to form a good cooperation with the BMS control module. The monitoring of the heat dissipation liquid temperature of the lithium polymer battery pack focuses on the fluid temperature at the inlet and outlet. The selection of monitoring accuracy is similar to that of single cells.

　　2) SOC technology: Simply put, it is how much power is left in the battery

　　SOC is the most important parameter in the BMS lithium polymer battery management system. Because everything else is based on SOC, its accuracy and robustness (also called error correction capability) are extremely important. Without accurate SOC, no amount of protection functions can make the BMS work properly, because the battery will always be in a protected state, and the life of the battery cannot be extended.
