　　The ultimate goal of the research center is to develop a new solid-state battery technology that can provide electric vehicles with a range of 800 kilometers by 2030, while the current range of mainstream electric vehicles on the market is about 550 kilometers. To this end, the Japanese government has invested 1.6 billion yen (approximately RMB 93.46 million) in the Libtec project, hoping that Japanese battery companies will return to the forefront of the world in the field of automotive batteries.
