1. Precautions for charging 48V lithium ion battery
Charge strictly according to the standard time and procedure.
The lithium battery is generally in the charged semi electric state when it leaves the factory. The battery must be fully charged when it is used for the first time.
Use the original charger, which has strong supporting performance and moderate charging rate.
Do not charge the battery until the undervoltage protection circuit works. The concept of recharging after completely discharging the electricity is incorrect. The greater the discharge depth, the more times of power loss use, and the shorter the service life of the lithium battery.
2. How many kilometers can 48V lithium-ion battery run when fully charged?
The endurance of the 48V lithium-ion battery is related to the capacity (Ah) of the battery itself and the motor power (W) of the electric vehicle. Currently, the electric bicycles that meet the national standards generally use the 48V 12Ah lithium-ion battery and the 350W motor. With the development of battery technology, their theoretical endurance can reach 50km. The actual endurance is determined by the weight of the passengers and the carrying weight. How many kilometers a 48v lithium-ion battery can run at full charge depends on the battery capacity, motor power and load capacity. Generally speaking, a 48V 12Ah, 350w lithium battery can run 50km. 48V 20Ah can run 70km. 72V 22Ah lithium battery can run 90km.
3. How many hours does the 48v lithium battery need to be fully charged?
The charging time has nothing to do with the voltage; It mainly depends on the capacity of the lithium-ion battery and the power of the charger. The charging time=the capacity of the lithium-ion battery ÷ the charging current. For example, if the 48V 20Ah lithium-ion battery uses a regular 48V 2A charger, the theoretical charging time is 2 hours, that is, 20Ah ÷ 10A=2h. However, the actual charging is constant flow constant voltage mode. The final trickle charging takes a long time, so it normally takes about 3 hours. Similarly, if 48V 5A charger is selected, 20Ah ÷ 5A=4h is required, but there is also a trickle time, so it is about 5h.
