What are the uses of component capacity in lithium-ion batteries?
Lithium ion battery component capacity: Simply understood as capacity sorting and performance screening grading. Battery capacity division refers to the process of charging and discharging the battery, and determining the capacity of a lithium-ion battery pack by detecting the discharge capacity when the division is full. When managing the component capacity of lithium-ion batteries, data from each detection point is obtained through computer management, and the size and internal resistance of these battery capacity data are analyzed to determine the quality level of the battery. This process is called capacity division.
Lithium battery cells produced cannot be sold immediately and should be stored for at least 15 days. During this period, some inherent drawbacks may manifest, such as excessive self discharge. Cells that have reached their storage period in the warehouse will be taken out for retesting and capacity division after receiving an order. This means recharging and discharging the batteries again, eliminating those that do not meet the capacity level or have quality problems, and then handing them over to the sales department to maintain about 50% of the battery capacity, and finally to the mobile phone battery block assembly factory.
By converting the cells that will be used for lithium-ion battery assembly into machine capacitors again, some cells that do not meet the requirements can always be selected and returned or exchanged with the cell factory. After conducting mechanical tests on lithium-ion batteries, it can be seen that the battery cells have been charged and discharged again, indicating that they are charged. So when you get the battery, there are two grids of electricity, which is normal.
