1. High safety performance
Lithium iron phosphate crystals contain very stable P-O bonds, which are very difficult to decompose. Even in high temperatures or overcharging environments, they do not experience heating but structural collapse like lithium cobalt oxide, nor do they form strong oxidizing substances. The decomposition temperature of lithium iron phosphate is as high as 600 degrees Celsius, so it has better safety and significantly improves its performance compared to other liquid electrolytic batteries under overcharging conditions.
2. Long lifespan
Compared to the 300-500 service life of lead-acid batteries, the cycle life of iron phosphate high-speed car batteries can reach 2000 or more. Under the same quality conditions, lead-acid batteries begin to experience various problems after six months of use, while lithium iron phosphate batteries can reach a service life of 1-8 years under the same usage conditions, with a cost-effectiveness of more than four times that of lead-acid batteries.
3. Good high-temperature performance
The electric heating peak of lithium iron phosphate can generally reach 250-500 degrees Celsius, which is significantly higher than the 200 degree Celsius peak of lithium manganese oxide and lithium cobalt oxide. Therefore, lithium iron phosphate power batteries have better high-temperature resistance and better endurance performance in high-temperature environments.
4. Large capacity, light weight, no memory effect
The mainstream lithium iron phosphate battery in the market can achieve a density of over 90WH/kg, which can be said to be quite large. In addition, lead-acid batteries with the same specification and capacity are larger in size and weight compared to lithium iron phosphate power batteries, sometimes even several times larger than lithium iron phosphate power batteries.
