The chemical materials and electrochemical characteristics used in these two types of batteries can be said to be similar, The main difference is that lithium-ion polymer batteries use some colloidal substances to help the battery plate adhere or absorb electrolyte, reducing the amount of liquid electrolyte used. As a result, the packaging of the battery can be changed from a metal shell to an aluminum plastic shell.
