　　There are two concepts for the lifespan of batteries: "dry storage lifespan" and "wet storage lifespan". It must be pointed out that these two concepts are only related to the size of battery self discharge and are not the actual lifespan of the battery. The longer the wet storage life, the better the battery performance. Among the commonly used batteries, cadmium nickel batteries have a wet shelf life of 2-3 years, lead-acid batteries have a lifespan of 3-5 years, lithium-ion batteries have a lifespan of 5-8 years, and zinc silver batteries have the shortest lifespan of only about 1 year.
