The higher the proportion of nickel and the less the proportion of cobalt and manganese, the higher the energy density, but the lower the safety.

At present, most of the commercial ternary cathode materials are secondary spherical polycrystalline materials of about 10 microns, which are formed by the agglomeration of nano primary particles.
