Scientists specially added selenium to protect the silicon cathode, and then developed a cathode with lithium and silicon. In addition, they used sulfur and selenium to make anodes.

　　The latest CR2032 button cell batteries can store about 500mAh of electricity per gram, compared to batteries on the market that can only store 100-150mAh of electricity per gram. This means that an electric vehicle can travel 300 kilometers per charge, which is twice as far as ordinary electric vehicles.

　　Not only that, after the new lithium battery is charged and discharged 1,500 times, the battery capacity will only shrink by 19%.
